Main characteristics
The straw targets in the Diana line are built with mixed straw to obtain a consistent quality. They are subjected to a rigorous selection process resulting in a good price/ quality ratio.
Complete with a green, polyester band for the 8 cm thickness and two bands in the 10 cm size.
Regulated density
The density, a critical factor in the choice of straw targets, is regulated to produce the correct balance between often conflicting factors: type of bow or crossbow, diameter of the arrows, type and level of competition.
Mixed Straw
The quality of the straw is extremely important because it varies depending on the time of year, the type of grass and the seasoning process. We use two types of straw together, one tougher to stand up against the arrows, the other softer to achieve the right amount of elasticity.
Rectangular braiding
The straw rope is built with a rectangular braid (see the cutaway in the picture) to obtain a better adhesion between the ropes and a flatter impact surface for the arrows. In this way arrows are subjected to less bending during impact and are easier to extract due to the use of less glue between the ropes.
Differing Widths
You are able to choose the straw target most appropriate for various types of competition or training.
Differing Diameters
We are able to produce whatever diameter on request to satisfy any needs, particularly for those who organise H&F competitions.
